Design the energy system. Test what actually works.

Find out whether your hydrogen concept is worth a feasibility study— before you pay for one.

H2Hub models your project across 8,760 hours, tests the economics, exposes the assumptions behind the result, and shows what evidence you need before spending more development capital.

    3 · Evidence gaps

    • · Power price is a market benchmark — no PPA recorded
    • · Minimum stable load is a technology default — vendor to confirm
    • · Offtake price is a developer target — no buyer commitment

    4 · Development decision

Calculations reconcile; evidence is immature. Economic gate not met under the modelled assumptions. Next: obtain an indicative PPA price and take the duty profile (180 starts, 450 h below 25% load) to the electrolyser vendor.

Cost basis: $55/MWh benchmark power paid only on electricity used (curtailed wind is not paid for) and about $1,100/kW installed electrolyser-system CAPEX. If the full wind output were paid for, power alone would rise to about $4.30/kg. Modelled on one representative weather year from coordinate-derived resource data — not site measurements.

    What makes the model different

Most hydrogen calculators ask you for a capacity factor. H2Hub models the operating year.

H2Hub runs the proposed electrolyser against the project's hourly renewable profile across all 8,760 hours of the year. Instead of relying only on an assumed utilisation percentage, the model determines how the system operates — including online time, full-load-equivalent hours, starts, shutdowns, part-load exposure, curtailment and hydrogen production.

Those operating results feed the same project economics, stress tests, Path to Viability and development gates used throughout the workspace.

Where site measurements have not been supplied, resource profiles are coordinate-derived modelled resource data (NASA POWER / ERA5) — not site-measured data.

    Evidence maturity

A correct calculation is not the same as a mature project. H2Hub tracks both.

As your project develops, replace assumptions with stronger evidence — supplier quotations, site data, PPAs, buyer commitments and engineering studies. H2Hub shows what is known, what is assumed, and what still needs to be proven.

    Two separate signals

    • Calculation integrity

Do production, electricity, utilisation, cost and revenue reconcile?

    • Evidence integrity

Are the inputs assumptions, public benchmarks, vendor data, project evidence or contracted values?

Correct math does not mean a project is ready. H2Hub separates calculation consistency from evidence maturity.

Every important result keeps its basis.

    ModelledBenchmarkUser assumptionSite dataVendor evidenceContracted

H2Hub keeps assumptions and evidence distinguishable so a modelled value does not silently become a project fact.

When stronger evidence is supplied, H2Hub can replace weaker assumptions and identify which analyses need to be rerun.

    What you get

    A defined pre-feasibility case — not just a number

    Downloadable project-development report

Dispatch, cost stack, stress tests, evidence register and next actions in one document you can share internally.

    Evidence tracking

Every key input carries its basis. Stronger evidence replaces weaker assumptions and flags what must be rerun.

Stress tests and Path to Viability

See which assumption breaks the case first, and which levers are practically achievable — or not achievable at all.

    Vendor-duty profile

Starts, part-load hours and hours below minimum load — the duty an electrolyser vendor needs to validate, not just a nameplate MW.

    Validation Lab

12 public projects run through the same method — results published for all of them.

Public projects rarely disclose load factor or LCOH, so we show, project by project, which metrics could be compared and how far H2Hub diverged — including the misses. Nothing was tuned to match reported figures.

    Year-to-year variation

Dispatch runs on one representative weather year, so results are a central (P50-style) estimate. Multi-year P50/P90 production ranges are on the roadmap; until then, use the stress tests to see how a weaker resource year moves the cost.
