Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles
Registrations by country, category and model — passenger, bus and heavy-duty rollouts.
Passenger FCEV growth has plateaued in Europe. The heavy-duty and bus segments are the only credible growth vectors for the balance of the decade.
Fleet duty cycles (500+ km/day) are where fuel cells beat batteries on TCO — passenger cars are the wrong benchmark.
Country-level growth mirrors HRS availability, not consumer preference. Without refuelling density, model launches don't move volume.
Truck OEM + fleet operator + HRS operator co-investment vehicles are the pattern that unlocks volume. Anything less is a pilot.
