Hydrogen Refuelling Stations
Operational HRS with dispenser pressures (350/700 bar) and operators — mobility infrastructure.
Europe's HRS network is thin, expensive and largely concentrated in Germany, France and the Netherlands. Utilisation, not station count, is the bottleneck.
700 bar cars vs 350 bar heavy-duty have different compression, cooling and storage duty. A dual-pressure station is not just two hoses — it is two capital assets.
Fleet-first deployment (buses, trucks) outperforms passenger-first in every real network. Design HRS around a captive offtaker, not open retail.
Consolidation among HRS operators is coming. Networks with heavy-duty duty cycles will survive; passenger-only stations will struggle without subsidy.
